Puppy/Dog Foundations & Manners Learn the fundamentals of companion obedience and household manners while discovering how to truly communicate with your best friend! Using positive, engagement-based training, you and your dog will master crucial life skills: • Impulse Control & Mouth Manners: "Get it" and "Leave it" • Stationing Behaviors: Sit, Down, Stand, and Stay • Safety Behaviors: Wait and a reliable Recall ("Here") • Real-World Skills: Polite leash walking, focus games, and fun tricks to keep your dog highly engaged! Prerequisites: None—this is the perfect place to start your dog's education! Location: 22226 S Bayside Rd, Cape Charles, VA 23310 Duration: 6 weeks (1 hour per week) Time: Fridays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM Cost: $160 Class Size: Limited to 6 handler/dog teams for personalized attention. ⚠️ Important Note for Week 1: Our first class is a humans-only session (no dogs). We will focus entirely on your trainer foundation skills, mastering marker words, and learning the mechanics of effective reinforcement before we bring the dogs into the mix for week two!
