First Responder Expo | BATTLE OF THE BADGES

Join us for the FIRST RESPONDER EXPO & BATTLE OF THE BADGES on October 28th, from 4pm to 8pm! Presented by America’s Navy - Entry to Atlantic Park Surf is FREE! Join us in celebrating National First Responder Day with our First Responder Expo, where individuals and families can learn more about the different first responder groups that service Virginia Beach, the world’s most elite first responders, America’s Navy Special Operators, and how you can get involved in giving back to our community! Expect hands on experiences for both youth and adult participants, equipment activations, and even some demonstrations to learn more about these unique departments and what they do on a day-to-day basis. As the expo wraps up, our first responder community will go head-to-head in Battle of the Badges, a surf competition in the Atlantic Park Surf lagoon! Come learn more about career opportunities within the first responder community or cheer on for your first responder groups. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 4-6 PM | First Responder Expo activations and demonstrations by America’s Navy and Virginia Beach first responder groups 6-8PM | Battle of the Badges, where first responder groups will go head to head in the Atlantic Park Surf lagoon in a competition format!
