The Elizabeth River Project is offering a rare chance for families to step onto our award-winning, solar-powered "floating lab" for a hands-on, curiosity-fueling experience your kids will talk about all summer. • Meet the River's Wildest Residents Get up close with the critters who call the Elizabeth River home—crabs, oysters, tiny fish, and other surprising neighbors. Kids can touch, observe, and learn how these creatures help keep our river healthy. • A Rare Chance for Families The Learning Barge is usually reserved for school field trips—but for a limited time, we're opening it to individual children and their guardians. If you've ever wanted to experience the Elizabeth River Project's one-of-a-kind floating classroom, this is your moment. Cost: $17.00 per student. Adults and children under 3 are free. Pre-registration is required to come aboard as spots are limited.
